I am back...

It is hard to believe that it has been more than a year and a half since I had my back surgery. The recovery period was long and hard. I am at a much better place than I was last summer, something my physical therapist predicted, but I do have nerve damage that affects my right side that will never heal. But that will not keep me down!

I am finally back to stamping and am excited to share ideas and techniques. Stampin' Up! has just released their 2020-2021 Idea Book and Catalog and today's card is one that uses the Forever Fern Bundle found on page 110 in the catalog. I love the tone-on-tone, pop of gold, and the embossing on the card stock.

When I have to mass produce cards for a holiday, I like quick and easy...simple cards that come together quickly.  This is one of those cards that I am sharing today.  It is Whisper White on Whisper White.  The card is thick whisper white with regular whisper white on top.  The designer series paper is from the Joyous Noel paper in the new mini.  I love it...wait until you see a card later this week using the same paper above, but with the dashing deer set!!  This paper is just so yummy! The sentiment is from the Timeless Tidings stamp set and is stamped in gray granite ink. The card is embellished with a strip of copper foil sheets and is accented with the braided linen trim.

This close-up highlights the new sprig punch.  The sprigs are punched out of gray granite card stock and add just the right touch.  An unconventional Christmas card with little details that make it just right!

Let's look at an adorable Christmas card today! This card using the Timeless Tidings from our new Holiday Occasions Catalog found on page 33. The little tree is just adorable, especially when it is adorned with those red rhinestones! The card uses the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series paper (found on page 13), Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler, and Very Vanilla card stock, Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler ink, and the braided linen trim.

Here is a close-up of the center piece.  The very vanilla and cherry cobbler were punched from the 2" circle punch and the starburst punch respectively.

I love cute Halloween images and today is no exception.  I love these little ghosts and the matching ghost paper. The darker ghost in the middle has a thick layer of wink of stella...it may not look glittery here, but in person it just shimmers. My second card uses the same set, Cauldron Bubble and this card fits the set title.

The designer series paper is so cute..ghosts on the top card and adorable cats on this card.  The cauldron is colored using the blends.  The trim is the new garden green baker's twine and it is sitting on the new galvanized buttons!

I am sharing another card using the Timeless Tidings.  Simple and quick to put together.  It doesn't need a lot of supplies, just Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, and Crumb Cake card stock, Wink of Stella glitter pen, Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake ink, Merry Merlot marker, Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper, Braided Linen Trim, Joyous Noel Glimmer paper, and dimensionals.  You will need adhesive and a couple of circle punches or dies.

Such a sweet card.  Very easy to produce to make your Christmas cards come together quickly.

Day Two of Kathy's Online Party

 Today's sample is a Christmas sample using the Timeless Tidings stamp set.  This set has a coordinating kit that allows you to create gorgeous cards, but the stamp set is a stand alone stamp set as well.

The paper makes this card so beautiful! It is the Joyous Noel Designer Series paper found on page 29.  The brass accents are just beautiful too! The base of the card is merry merlot card stock, whisper white and the brass foil sheet make up the greeting, which is stamped in merry merlot ink. Braided linen trim is holding the brass snowflake in place which is from the snowflake and stars wire elements, part of the Joyous Noel Suite on pages 28-29.
